Former Vice-President (In Name Only) and Overlord of the League of Calamitous Intent, Dick Cheney, recently awoke from his thousand years rest to give advice on gun control. Allow me to repeat that for those of you whose capillaries didn’t just rupture: the man who shot an old guy in the face was asked his opinions on gun control. And the man with all the physiognomies of Lex Luthor, the Penguin, and Newman from Seinfeld–without the cuddly disposition–was critical of President Obama’s gun safety measures.
It seems Fox News correspondent, Griff Jenkins, met up with Cheney over the week at the Safari Club International convention for gun owners and manufacturers, where he was able to solicit Cheney’s opinion on the hot-topic of guns. The Almighty King of Fear, who has aggressively criticized the President in the past on issues mostly related to foreign policy, was very concerned with Obama’s gun safety efforts.
“We may end up in a situation where you get a proposal or a proposition that does in fact threaten the rights of law-abiding Americans, and at the same time, doesn’t do anything with respect to the problem everybody’s concerned about, such as the shooting that happened in Connecticut,” the Wyoming Republican said.
